Software Engineer — Backend

About the role.

TechFirm Ireland is looking for a backend engineer to join our Dublin platform team. You’ll build and maintain the APIs behind our core product, working in a small squad with real ownership of what you ship.

What you’ll do.

• Design and build backend services in PHP/Laravel and Node.js
• Own features end-to-end, from planning through deployment
• Improve performance, reliability and test coverage across the platform
• Work with product and frontend teams in two-week sprints

What you’ll need.

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Solid SQL and API design fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland

Benefits.

• €65,000 – €80,000 depending on experience
